A ponderance.

I wonder what people say about me when I’m not around.

I’m not being dramatic. It would, without a doubt, be extremely constructive, for me at least, to know how the people around me consider me and my various actions and attributes.

I might use the information to filter out people who aren’t really desirable to have around. I would probably use the information to better tailor my actions to others. I would certainly use it to better understand people in general; to know what others perceive would be a great asset.

Or I could just ask.
