Concerning me, the author.
I’ve been blogging for a long time, pretty much about nothing, for no reason other than I like to write stuff in my blog, and I get some sort of perverted thrill out of thinking “Shit, everyone can read this.” It’s a confidence builder, really.
So, some stuff about me. I’m a psych major at Fairfield University. I think about stuff virtually all the time. I like to laugh. I get angry at things for various reasons fairly quickly sometimes, and become unangry just as fast. Usually. My friends are awesome, as they often spark a lot of good ideas, which my terrible memory proceeds to erase from existence.
That’s a common theme here at the Top of the Mountain.
I’m a pretty weird kid, according to most people. I’m pretty abrasive sometimes. And I guess I am kind of an asshole, in a way. Don’t take it personally. Ever.
I care too much about things for my own good. While taxing, I consider this an attribute that makes me who I am.
And contrary to my apparently abrasive nature, I am extremely receptive (I try to be at least… some things you don’t notice about yourself). Even if I dismiss something out of hand, I continue to process it.
I love my friends and family, with every fiber of my being.
I’m just trying my best to attain my dreams, which is a very difficult prospect at times.
